GTM Manufacturing, L.L.C. (GTM) a member of the Kelley Family of Companies has announced the official production and shipment capability of their proprietary GTM intermodal gas transport system. The 3,250 psig module is capable of loading and transporting an average of 30% more product per load than conventional 2,400 psig transportation systems. This 30% increase in pressure capacity enables GTM modules to be the most efficient and cost effective mode of transportation for specialty gas on the market today.

The GTM modules are DOT compliant and approved for the transport of compressed natural gas, nitrogen, ethane, helium and hydrogen to name a few. GTM vessels are constructed from steel pipe, formed and machined heads are precision welded to our pipe. The vessels are then wrapped with resin infused fiberglass to maximize strength, reduce weight and increase transport capacity. The finished nine cylinder configuration is then mounted in a frame, installed inside a specially modified ISO container. Each manufacturing step is monitored and tested to ensure the highest quality and safest product possible. The GTM module revolutionizes the gas transport world by offering faster, lighter and more efficient transportation. GTM modules can also be acquired at costs less than traditional gas transport systems.

"We are proud to continually lead the specialty gas industry by revolutionizing the transportation mechanism to include a more efficient and cost effective avenue for gas mobilization and utilization. It is our hope that the economic benefits of the GTM module will open doors of opportunity for specialty gases by offering safer, more efficient transport solutions," said Ken Kelley, CEO of GTM Manufacturing. Always innovating just like his father, Jack B. Kelley who invented the jumbo tube trailer in 1960, Ken goes on "Kelley Kuality" rides with every GTM produced. Four years of testing and proving the GTM Module intermodal concept have resulted in newly patented processes in welding and composite high pressure gas cylinders with advantages GTM is ready to pass on to their customers.

While GTM marketing agreements around the world are pushing the GTM system to the forefront of gas transportation solutions, Kelley states, "We are looking forward to the future of GTM Module sales and utilization across the globe but are particularly excited about their impact in the American energy and industrial and specialty gas markets. Because GTM products are competitively priced against traditional steel transport systems we look forward to offering GTM users immediate savings on their initial investment with a continued savings on a per load basis."

Located in Amarillo, Texas, GTM fabricates high pressure vessels made in accordance with DOT specifications and guidelines. GTM is a member of the Kelley Family of Companies whom, along with Jack B. Kelley, Inc. and Specialty Trailer Leasing, have been the leading gas transport solutions provider since 1946.
